9 months and 3 days

Exactly, that is the day that he came into this world. First there was 9 months, but we are past that point (of no return). Now, we can go on for a little while longer, but with an appropiate new blog. Gaizka's blog.

So he was born on the 24th of september. He was 51 cm long en weighed 3295 gram.









The first night we spend in the hospital. We had yet to learn how to treat an 1 day old baby and I did not want to start the first night alone with diapers and breast feeding without any knowledge.
I like nature's call, I believe that we also have instincts in how to survive the night with an newborn baby, but I am not going to take my chances, not with an one day old baby.

So Antonio started the 24th of september with a last long undisturbed night for a very long time.

In the morning Antonio came to the hospital to pick us up and that was the start of the family live at the Vuurplaat 609 in Rotterdam.
