Gaizka y su abuelo en Rotterdam

Last week 'el negro' visited us in Rotterdam. Together with his wife Gerda he stayed for 3 days to enjoy our company in the city of Rotterdam but most importantly to meet his new grandchild and to reunite with his son Antonio.

For 2 days it was foggy and cold and a little snowy in Rotterdam. On friday Margreet ('mama loca')joined the first 'Santa Run' in Rotterdam. Luckily (for whom) Gerda and Antonio wanted to babysit for Gaizka.



The next day we went to a park in a very nice neighbourhood in our city. It was probably the most beauiful day of this winter, as the photo's will tell you.




It was for Gaizka the first time he was on natural ice, and who knows maybe for his grandfather as well.




Every evening we (Antonio) would prepare dinner at our house and saturday evening we ate the famous arepa's from Antonio.
